Since 2014, Dr. Gero Kalt has once again been Managing Director of the renowned F.A.Z.-Institut, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.

From 2007 to 2014, he was a board member and managing partner of PRIME Research International AG, a global consulting firm. He had already worked at the F.A.Z. Institute (from 1990 – 1996 as editor-in-chief, from 1996 – 2007 as managing director).

Kalt was a board member of the professional association DPRG for many years and acted as a jury member for the “German PR Award”. He is the founder and publisher of the trade magazine “kommunikationsmanager – Das Magazin für Entscheider in Kommunikation und Marketing”. In 2002, he co-founded the prestigious “German Image Award”, which is presented annually and has since been received by numerous top managers. For years, he has also been responsible for the “German Brand Summit,” a leading event for decision-makers in communications and marketing.

Dr. Gero Kalt studied German and English language and literature at the Universities of Bonn and Birmingham and economics at the Academy of Management and Economics.His book publications as author and editor include:
