EXCELLENCE Symposium #60:

THE BIG RESET: How communications survive and thrive in the age of AI.

11. – November 12, 2025 at Merck in Darmstadt

At the 60th symposium of the Excellence Forum, we will take a very human-intelligent look at the use of artificial intelligence in communication and marketing. Under the motto“THE BIG RESET: How communications survive and thrive in the age of AI.“, we will explore together which approaches, strategies and measures are forward-looking and promising.

We are very much looking forward to a top-class program with keynote speeches and practical reports (including from ContiTech, Covestro, Datev, Merck, Schwarz Group), an exclusive CCO panel, interactive sessions and plenty of networking. We will shed light on the following issues, among others:

  • How is AI changing the work of communications departments?
  • How can AI-supported analyses prove the return on investment of communication?
  • How must content be prepared in order to be correctly understood by AI?
  • What should companies know to avoid falling for supposed “AI magic”?

For over 20 years, the Excellence Forum specialist days have offered a unique format for all those who want to measurably develop digital communication. Two days of confidential exchange, honest practical reports, open discussions, inspiring workshops and well-founded benchmarks on the performance and impact of communication – all in an exclusive group of around 50 communication managers (service providers are excluded from participation).

Leading through the program

  • Christian Bachem (Founder Excellence Forum)
  • Frank Sielaff (founder of entrusted, former Head of Digital Media at Merck).

In order to enable all interested parties to participate, the symposium will be held in English.
