EXCELLENCE Symposium #60:

THE BIG RESET: How Communications Survive and Thrive in the Age of AI.

11. – 12 November, 2025 at Merck in Darmstadt

At the 60th Excellence Forum symposium, we will take a very human-centric and intelligent look at the use of artificial intelligence in communication and marketing. With the theme of ‘THE BIG RESET: How Communications Survive and Thrive in the Age of AI’, we will explore the most promising and forward-looking approaches, strategies and measures available.

We are very much looking forward to a top-class program with keynote speeches and practical reports (e.g. from Bayer, ContiTech, Covestro, Datev, Merck, Schwarz Group), an exclusive Comms Leaders Panel, interactive sessions and lots of networking. We will shed light on the following issues, among others:

  • How is AI changing the work of communications departments?
  • How can AI-supported analyses prove the return on investment of communication?
  • How must content be prepared in order to be correctly understood by AI?
  • What should companies know to avoid falling for “AI magic”?

For over 20 years, the Excellence Forum’s sympoisums have offered a unique format for anyone looking to measurably develop their digital communication. The two-day event features confidential exchanges, practical reports, open discussions, inspiring workshops and well-founded benchmarks on the performance and impact of communication. It is exclusive to around 50 communication managers (service providers are excluded from participation).

Leading through the program

  • Christian Bachem (Founder Excellence Forum)
  • Frank Sielaff (founder of entrusted, former Head of Digital Media at Merck).

In order to enable all interested parties to participate, the symposium will be held in English.
