Method
In the topic and trend analyses, the initial focus of the analysis is not on companies, but on topics – with a different approach depending on the questions asked:
- In the pure topic analysis, an AI-based text analysis is used to search for online posts on a given overarching topic (e.g. customer loyalty).
In the trend topic analysis, dominant topics are identified for a specific industry or set of competitors with the help of AI-supported topic modeling. - In the subsequent in-depth analysis, the topics (and any sub-topics) are examined more closely over time, the topic radar and the communicative proximity of the companies to the topics are determined.
